Whether it’s refreshing, hard-hitting or something to inspire a wild night, National Beverage Day is a day to celebrate all things liquid💧
To celebrate, let’s revisit some famous fictional drinks as seen on movie big screens:
1. Butterbeer

Anyone who’s fantasized about getting their Hogwarts acceptance letter on their 11th birthday knows their Butterbeers from their Polyjuice potions. Sit back, relax and have a rich, butterscotch, lightly alcoholic beverage at the Three Broomsticks (or IRL at Harry Potter world)
2. Fizzy Lifting Drink

Another whimsical drink, this fizzy concoction lets you fly without wings! Sure beats the chocolate river (but that’s pretty cool too). Although, let’s hope you’re not underneath any industrial fans when you do take a sip😉 
3. Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

Invented by the ex-President of the Galaxy, Zaphod Beeblebrox, and deemed the best drink in existence, if you fly off into space you better be sure to try one of these. A word of caution: it will probably feel like having your brains smashed in by a slice of lemon, wrapped around a very large gold brick.
4. Duff Beer

Who could forget Duff Beer? Take a seat at Moe’s Tavern with the boys and have a classically popular Duff Beer, repped by the muscled DuffMan. Though no guarantees on how it tastes…
5. “Drink Me!”

Would you take a sip of an unknown drink? What if it made your body shrink? This potion supposedly tastes like cherry tarts, buttered toast, roast turkey, pineapple, custard and toffee… all while still tasting good.
