The Vegvisir, a runic compass comprised of eight Viking rune staves, is a symbol of protection and guidance believed to be used as a compass by Vikings.
The word vegvisir means ‘wayfinder’, and is a symbol of guidance and protection. According to the Huld Manuscript, the runes translate to “the wearer of this symbol will not lose his way during storms and bad weather, even if he does not know of his destination”.
This clock features the ancient Vegvisir compass, beautifully lit by LED lights. The clock uses precise quartz movement and is powered by a single AA battery.
An AC power cord (110v to 240v) powers the bright, energy-saving LED light, which has a lifespan of about 100,000 hours (10 years). Depending on your shipping address, an appropriate plug will be sent to you.
A 16-key LED remote controller is also available so you can customize the colors of the runes and the light settings. You can turn the lights on and off, dim, brighten or set the lights to change colors.
You will be given a 16 Keys LED Remote Controller (see below) to customize the colors of the backlight. With the remote controller, you will have a variety of light setting which include to power on or off lights, pause or play, dim or change speed of lights and also to create rainbow of colors.
